Thank you for the kind words. Before I can help you, I need to get some more information about what your setup is and what you're trying to do.

Which program needs to be downloaded again. Are both of your computers macs?

Note that if you are working internally on your own network, you can VNC into any other computer running a VNC server simply by entering the computer's internal IP (usually something like 192.168.X.X). This can help bypass the whole No-IP step (as long as you know the other computer's internal ip as assigned by the router).

		<description>thanks for your posting, I started using vnc yesterday I dont know if the program works each time or do u need to download again, only it worked fine last night but this morning says shortcut is missing ,what am i doing wrong , I just want to use my desktop via my laptop which is upstairs and connects via a router
